MWB Studios humidors are handcrafted in the U.S. by American craftsmen. These are not imports and are crafted one at a time in our studio located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our specialty craft is marquetry and inlay. Marquetry is an age old craft where different veneers are cut and hand assembled into a larger panel similar to a jigsaw puzzle. Inlay is similar in process however instead of assembling a larger panel of different woods, the woods are inset into a larger piece with recesses. These processes take time and skill to create a quality product and will last generations.

Marquetry & Inlay

Marquetry is a centuries-old style of decorative inlay where each piece of wood is hand selected, cut, and intricately assembled to create timeless designs made of various all-natural wood varieties.

The value of marquetry is in the time, skill, and knowledge put into each decorative piece. These individual pieces have a unique story and combine natural grains and rich aromas from woods that can sometimes take hundreds of years to develop.
